You’ve Got Questions?

Of Course You Do.

Who do you work with?

We partner with synagogues, day schools, and Jewish community organizations of all sizes. At this time, we work only with congregations that are affiliated with a recognized Jewish movement or professional association.
Affiliation provides shared standards, professional oversight, and the structure needed for our work to be effective and sustainable.

Do you offer ongoing support or project-based work?

Yes — both.
Some organizations need steady weekly or monthly support; others need help with a specific project or season. We’ll match the level of support to where you are.

Is everything really customizable?

Absolutely.
Every organization operates differently, and your needs change based on your size, structure, and culture. A school of 2,000 students has different systems than a school of 230; synagogues vary widely too. All of our work is tailored so it’s relevant, practical, and not one-size-fits-all.

Do you work virtually or on-site?

Both — but here’s the truth: the nature of our work often requires being on-site.
We want to get to know:

  • your building

  • your board

  • your clergy and professional staff

  • your congregants

  • your culture

  • the flow of your week

We learn names and faces. We walk the halls. We understand how your space works.

And yes — we also understand that sometimes “finding the membership list” means sorting through offices, boxes, cabinets, and things that haven’t been touched in five years. We are completely down for that work. It’s part of knowing your organization well enough to actually help.

How do we get started?

Reach out — that’s it.
We’ll set up a short, low-pressure call to talk through your goals (even if you’re not sure what you need yet). Then we’ll send a simple plan and next steps.

What does onboarding look like?

We review your systems, documents, communication rhythms, and priorities. We meet your team, understand your calendar, and get familiar with the way your organization actually functions day to day.
The goal is to step into your world smoothly and support the areas that need capacity most.

What kinds of things do you help with?

A wide range of operations and communications work, including:

  • messaging and emails

  • grant writing and reporting

  • donor and membership communications

  • calendar and program planning

  • event support

  • board and leadership coordination

  • administrative lift

  • sensitive or rapid-response communications

And honestly, if you don’t see something listed, ask — we can often take it on or help you find the right resource.

What services don’t you offer?

We don’t provide rabbinic services, legal advice, HR investigations, or direct fundraising solicitation. If something falls outside our scope, we’ll point you toward someone who can help.

How does pricing work?

Pricing is flat-rate and transparent. You’ll always know the scope, expectations, and cost before we begin. No surprises.

How soon can we start?

It depends on current capacity and your needs. Most engagements begin within 1–3 weeks. Time-sensitive situations may start sooner.

What if we’re not exactly sure what we need?

Totally normal. Many organizations come to us with a feeling more than a plan: “We’re overwhelmed,” “We’re behind,” or “We know something has to change.”

That’s part of our work — helping you figure out what will actually move things forward.
